Minerva is a Canadian civil servant by day and a writer by night. She has lived in three provinces in Canada, as well as in Europe and Japan, and she is conversational in French and Japanese. Her writing is influenced by her training in public administration, and much of her work features at some level the roles and impacts of government on its citizens. She also enjoys finding new lenses through which to explore familiar settings.

Minerva’s favourite authors are Dorothy Sayers and Terry Pratchett. Her favourite mangaka are CLAMP and Aoyama Goshou. When she’s not writing or reading she is watching Let’s Plays on Youtube, experimenting with watercolours or playing with her cat.
